Countries and governments have the tendency to political interaction. An accusation (even considered absurd) by one country might trigger extradition proceedings against someone residing in another country. Anybody subject to an extradition request has the right to be properly defended. An erroneous perception is that you have to challenge the country seeking extradition. In reality the inadmissibility of extradition has to be proven to your country of residence.
